With the recent cinematic release of Zoolander 2, the fashionistas at Hoddesdon CC have released this summer’s must-have items.

Firstly, we are excited to unveil our new coloured strip in anticipation for the Readers T20 Herts Cup 2016. Looking to build on our strong 2015 cup campaign, the kit just further highlights the professionalism and ambition the club is demonstrating across all competitions.

A huge thanks must go to David Barney & Company Solicitors for funding this kit and their continued support of Hoddesdon CC as a whole.

For those members (adult playing, youth playing or social) that are unsurprisingly impressed by the Rob Jones original design and would be interested in purchasing the playing top, we are currently looking at the potential of offering replica supporters kit so watch this space for further updates.

In addition to this, we are pleased to offer the first Hoddesdon CC SnapBack. Alongside their use for everyday casual wear, these caps may potentially be used as part of our new coloured T20 clothing.

Unlike the T20 kit, at a cut cost of £18. Just as a reference, if you wanted to buy a snapback of the same quality from one of the Big Bash teams, it would cost you £30. They come in two sizes, adult and colts (ages 7-13) so if you are interested in purchasing a cap, please email w.thorne-11@alumni.lboro.ac.uk and he will inform you of the payment details.

For those wishing to see these new kits in full pomp, the team are playing away on the 2nd May at Bishops Stortford and home on the 30th May at 12th June against Langleybury and North Mimms respectively. They are always a great occasion so please come down to support the team!

Sticking to the hat theme, as a result of the money raised through the Fantasy Cricket competition, we are now awarding numbered Hoddesdon CC Baggy Greens for all 1st XI players to reach 5 caps.

This is a new initiative which we hope will add further weight of recognition for this achievement. We aim to offer (non-numbered) baggy caps for all adult members in the near future and will hopefully raise more funds in order to do so.
